friday, friday,friday...

today is a perfect friday!
i always have a starbucks on friday morning and this morning it was nothing short of yummy! i've been listening to my favorite Christmas CD all morning and tonight we will decorate the tree and bake cookies for the cookie jar! When A saw the cookie jar on the counter she was really excited and i told her we needed to bake some cookies for it. She said, "Yeah, and we need to bake some for Santa, put them on a plate and leave a note that 'If you want more, there are more cookies in the cookie jar, and we love you." all while moving her hand through the air as though she was writing the note in cursive...serious stuff.

We had dance class last night, they've been preparing for the recital...need to check that date and put it on my calendar (i've been SO bad about keeping track...).
then we were able to run some errands that i've been putting off all week...i picked up some new yarn for my winter knitting. i think i'm in the mood for a new scarf...something incredibly soft and cozy would be nice, no?

this week it has been so hard to get out of bed...tomorrow morning i will sleep in!

and then i think the plan is to do some furniture shopping, maybe check out a new rowing machine (!) and i plan to take the girl to do her Christmas shopping this weekend, also.
hustle and bustle, in the thick of the holidays!

now, if only my house were as clean as i would like it. ;)
